i would have called this an upset if ballard had won...think oc has a better team...both good, though, and would have like to have been there to watch

If Oldham did not lose many from last year's team they should have been favored. They could make some real noise at state this year if so.

Does OC have any girls that NKY people might be familiar with?

oc's tough...they have 5 returning seniors that have played travel ball together since 12U days as oc outrage...leaton is outfilelder heading to dayton, used to to play with so. ky crush out of bowling green, then on some high level indiana travel squads...i picked them to make a good run at state, if their pitching holds up beyond leanhart.

JMU -- wonder if that group has some kids from that team that beat us 1-0 ( or maybe 2-1 ??) that fall weekend in Cincy when the girls were 13 or 14 and we were playing up at 16 or 18 ? ... Em had some crazy good stuff that day and had like 18 K's in 7 innings and we still lost the game ? we dropped a third strike , a steal , a bunt and a ground out or something like that beat us .. that was a ky team but those girls might have graduated by now ??

Was I more drunk than usual that weekend? I don't remember playing a ky team besides Sluggers at stingrays...was that the weekend we beat that gold laser team that duncan played on and everyone was pissed they let us in...we were like 3-2 that weekend, just cant remember a ky team

yeah it was that weekend .. we would have finished 4-1 that weekend if we hit any at all .. I remember Em having unreal stuff that game . She was so explosive it actually looked like the ball was gaining speed and rising on the way to the plate .. they started bunting nearly every AB in about the 4th-5th inning. They had a nice team . OC Outrage maybe ?? this was 3-4 years ago . and you drink ? never noticed .

Outrage 94 was the original team started by Leanhart at 12u. The next year he started more age groups. Leaton played the first year for the 94 group then stayed down with the 95's, before moving to the Southern Ky. Crush. Wishnevski and Learnhart were 94's and Lopesilvera joined the 94's at 16u, Rigdon a 95, and Shelton played for the 96 age group.
