Isn't this somewhat of a surprise? I usually hear of the goings on with the local 8th region schools close to me but I didn't hear anything about this.

Wasn't this job open just a couple of years ago?

Hummmmm. I guess it all depends on what you mean by a "good program". Are they a region contender? To put it nicely...not usually. They usually have trouble just in district...but they did just have maybe one of if not their best team in school history a couple of years ago losing in the region finals to Oldham Co. Could not build on that though. Not a whole lot of talent year end year out. I don't hear anything bad about the administation, which is a positive. It's not a place someone is going to go and win a lot of games most years, but they are in an area they can usually be competitive.

District is hard with Anderson County, Shelby County & Collins High
