Division I -- Brandon Hatton (Dixie) and Division II -- Antonio Campbell (Holy Cross). Not to take away from these two young men (obviously fine basketball players with tremendous talent), but I am somewhat perplexed as to how they were awarded the Player of the Year honor over Nick Ruthsatz and James Bolden, respectively. Perhaps I do not understand the process of the selection for the Player of the Year. Could someone educate me? Thank you!

It's my understanding that Enquirer Player of the Year is the NKAC Divisional Players of the Year. Those are voted on by opposing coaches. I believe Ruthsatz finished second to Hatton in DI and Bolden finished 2nd to Campbell in D2.

Easy. Hatton is the better player.

The best player in NKY is James Bolden.

All 4 of mine vote for Hatton. For once, on the same page with the Enquirer.

Campbell player of the year and defensive player of the year. Not just about offense. He alters the game in so many ways. he deserved it over Bolden.

Hatton over Ruthsatz IMO. I think Ruthsatz had a lot more to work with this year than Hatton did. Both know the game so very well. This one was a harder choice for me.
