2nd base

Ok let's try 2nd, first didn't go all that well. Fell free to rate them or just mention a girl you feel is deserving.

Hannah Tupman, senior HC. Hannah has turned her self into a nice player. Hannah never played a game before starting HS and plays 3 sports at HC so she doesn't have a lot of time to spend on softball. I think she plays to spend time with some friends and in the mean time has helped the team. Hannah is trying to play soccer in college and I wish her the best.

Please list some more bc I am not familer with any.

Oliverio - Ryle

Kaleigh Clark - Conner

Carlee McCarthy - Boone. Although they will probably move her to SS this year with Johnson being out and Knotts handling the majority of the pitching.

I believe Grau may play 2nd for Boone. I heard Clark quit softball.

Thanks I was wondering who would play 2B for Boone if McCarthy moved to SS. That makes sense.

Wow, if Clark quit I am very surprised. She was a very nice player, and a very good hitter.

NewCath sophomore Casey Kolhs, leading hitter from last year as a frosh(.430 AVG, .496 OBP, 46 H, 28 R, 7 2B, 2 3B, 25 RBI, 15 SB). In 111 total chances she committed only 7 errors (4 throwing). She's only going to get better.

She had a real nice game against HC last year.

Come on who else is playing second in the area.

Gallatin County junior Kelsea Satchwell came on strong for Gallatin last season and will be part of a strong nucleus for GC in 2013.

Grau moving to the outfield this year from what I am hearing.

The secondbaseman from Carroll County last year was superb. Not sure if she graduated.

If Grau is moving to the outfield, then who might be playing 2B for Boone?

Those are very impressive numbers. Did BGH give u a pencil for Christmas? I'm kidding of course and don't want to take away from Casey's hard work. Just couldn't resist.

:laugh: If he got a pencil from BGH I think she would have been hitting .630 and the rest of the team would have been over .500.

Although Carroll Co. is not considered Northern Ky. I would put their middle infield up against anyone anywhere.

They're still deciding, but look for freshman Sydney Foster to play there. She played SS for JV last year and led them in hitting from the lead off spot. She played in the outfield some for varsity. She's the fastest girl on the team. With her, McCarthy (SS), and Stein in Center the would have tremendous speed in the middle of that defense. Foster has a strong arm so they haven't given up on her in the outfield or third base either.
