They're still deciding, but look for freshman Sydney Foster to play there. She played SS for JV last year and led them in hitting from the lead off spot. She played in the outfield some for varsity. She's the fastest girl on the team. With her, McCarthy (SS), and Stein in Center the would have tremendous speed in the middle of that defense. Foster has a strong arm so they haven't given up on her in the outfield or third base either.

It looks as if Maddie Graham will get the bulk of the duty along with Kiersten Maines. Both are very capable. Maddie caught a lot for JV last year.
