Bracken County 59 Villa Madonna 56

This is a very big win for the Polar Bears! Congrats to Coach Persinger and his team!

Also big S/O to Philip Jefferson on hitting the game winner and posting a career high 27 points.

Very nice young man and I'm really happy for him. As I've said previously he and Haight play the game well.

^ I would guess Villa is in the bottom 5-7 teams in the 9th. Walter ranked them 16th out of 20 in the pre-season.

Comparable opponents with Bracken: they lost to Beechwood by 3. Bracken split with Beechwood. They beat Nicholas County by 3. Bracken also beat Nicholas by 3. So I think these two teams are on about the same level with each other.

Still a good win for the Polar Bears heading into the postseason.
