Also big S/O to Philip Jefferson on hitting the game winner and posting a career high 27 points. Very nice young man and I'm really happy for him. As I've said previously he and Haight play the game well.

EHSNKY
Both teams have 8th graders playing varsity, Austin Crawford and Cole VonHandorf. Nice to see each contribute in this game.
All In
Doesn't Villa start a 6'8 center? Was this considered an upset? Villa's record puts them around 5th I believe in that region
Randy Parker
^ I would guess Villa is in the bottom 5-7 teams in the 9th. Walter ranked them 16th out of 20 in the pre-season. Comparable opponents with Bracken: they lost to Beechwood by 3. Bracken split with Beechwood. They beat Nicholas County by 3. Bracken also beat Nicholas by 3. So I think these two teams are on about the same level with each other. Still a good win for the Polar Bears heading into the postseason.
