Big win for the Ladycats! They pulled away in the 4th quarter. Congrats!

Judy had 28 points and 14 rebounds. Sandlin had 21 points in her first real contest since her injury.

Judy owned the paint. NCC had no answer for her down low. Kiernan could only foul her or watch her score. When kiernan was out Mayes tried to guard her but W-V just pounded it inside. The game was definitely won and lost by the posts. It was great to see Sandlin playing at such a high level again.

I've been waiting for Judy to have a monster game all year. If she can continue to play like she did tonight and Sandlin can continue to get healthy, Walton will be a force come tournament time.

First of all, welcome back Courtney Sandlin, way to come back strong! Second of all, NCC had NO answer defensively in the post and for Michelle Judy tonight. Almost all of the 49 points between them was in the paint. (Sandlin's 21, Judy's 28) That is getting it done. Congratulations Bearcats on the victory.

Congrats on a nice win!

Good to see that Sandlin had a strong game after returning from her injury. Judy needs to play with this intensity for Walton to make a run.

You are exactly right!

NCC reeling at the moment.....

.....and their schedule doesn't get any easier. They have ND, Ryle and Conner to close out the regular season and Highlands in the district.

WV has two big wins over the top of the 9th this year.

Coach Stoll said they are still reeling from the All "A". Seems to happen a lot after the state tournament. We were very impressed on how Michelle Judy played last night. 28 points and Courtney Sandlin coming off the bench for 21. Walton did a great job of getting Nicole Kiernan in foul trouble. She picked up two quick in the first quarter and get her early 4th qtr. Also impressed with Alexus Mayes for NCC. Deep three pointer in the second half kept the game close, but Walton took over in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Porky is right, no let up in the NCC schedule with a date with Highlands in the district. Walton has no cake walk with Ryle, Highlands, LexCath Gallatin and Carroll to round out the regular season.

Great win for Coach Clink and his team. Sounds like NCC had a hard time with Sandlin AND Judy, they are tough to handle in the paint. Gallatin/Walton matchup on Monday will be intersting, considering GC has nobody over 5 ft 8.

If Gallatin can get up and down the court and hit some outside shots this game could be interesting. After seeing them in the ALL A this is a team I wouldnt rule out going and beating anyone when there playing there game.

These two teams definitely won't match up. It will be interesting
