The Battle of the "fish-eaters", tomorrow at 12:30. The Breds are in the Finals for the 5th time ((01-07-10-12-13). Do they capture their 2nd title or are they runners-up a 2nd year in a row? I look forward to seeing this match-up. Will it be Kiernan vs Greenwell? Whatcha got?

Little known fact: In the history of the All "A" Tourney the NewCath girls, in only 10 tourney appearances, are the program with the most wins to date. As of today's victory their overall record now stands at 26-9. The next closest is Lexington Christian with 14 appearances at 23-11, with 3 consecutive titles (07-08-09). In each of those title runs the Breds were victims in the Quarter, Semi, & Finals.

Good luck to the Lady Breds

I love history and Lawnboy13, you made my day!!!!

I will take the easy choice and predict Catholic wins this one.

Rooting for the Breds but Greenwell is a great individual talent. Saw her as a freshman 3 years ago and she was amazing then. Big challenge for NC. My heart says NC but my head says OC. Owensboro Catholic 43-38.

I think this one should be a great one. This will be a chess match against coaches IMO. NCC trying to stop Greenwell and Owensboro Cath trying to stop Kiernan. Its not like they will be guarding eachother so it'll be interesting to see who NCC puts on her? Im assuming Owensboro will dlb team Kiernan which may leave Mayes open for a big game. Pick your poison and hope for the best!

Iam pulling and rooting for the Newport Catholics...

Good luck Breds, make NKY proud...:thumb:
