It had nothing to do with his back. His back is fine.

Talked to some people "in the know" today and I must say I've lost a lot of respect for Mullins over the past few days with things I'm hearing.

Care to elaborate?

Not my place. If someone else wants to, feel free.

I don't get it, since you're an aspiring journalist (albeit with a heavy Holmes lean), why would you not want to break a story with your inside info?

First off, the high school coverage I provide isn't because I want to be an "aspiring journalist" or get in to professional broadcasting. I'm perfectly content with my current career and lifestyle that it allows me to live. I do the high school coverage because I love sports and being involved with them.

If someone (coach, player, relative, friend) is willing to share personal information with me and let me know what's going on, I'm not going to burn any bridges by making it public. It's simply not my place and honestly if it was a story, it'd already be out there. All you have to do is go to a Ryle game and you will realize.

Again, if someone wants to elaborate on the situation, feel free. I know for a fact there are people on this board who are as close to the situation as you can get. If they don't want to share what's going on, I don't blame them.

Sounds to me like Mullins has worn out his welcome in Union.

No reason that program should be going through what they are right now after starting off 5-1.

It could be a LONG and UGLY night for the Raiders tonight in Park Hills.

Good answer - it's about the sports here- not the drama
