Just wondering how the new field is coming? How much more has to be done to be playable? Drove past the site the other day and that place has alot to offer. It looks like their are restrooms already there and a play area for the little ones, and a trail around the lake for the family to take a stroll. Nice oppurtunity for the Lady Mustangs!!

I heard there was not much parking here close to the field for softball. Are they adding some parking? And yes some pictures would be nice if possible.

I would stop by and take some pics, but not sure how to post them on here, a little new at this.

Awesome for the Lady 'Stangs... Coached a lot of ball games there and sometimes parking was an issue but didn't they eliminate the field by the lot?

Yes they did. The front field is gone and some additional parking was added. There's also more parking straight ahead from the main entrance it should work out OK.

Pics and report courtesy of Mr. lawildcat. Pics from BBHS new softball field at Alexandria Park. If anyone knows this field, BBHS (Tom Baynum and Crew) have done wonders to this site. Still much work to be completed. Only concern is that the outfield, primarily Right and Center fields lie much lower than rest of field. Standing water and very, very soft ground. Could be a concern for spring rain issues, but I'm sure that this will be an excellent facility when completed.

We still have all the fencing to put up in the next few weeks, a drainage line will be put at the base of the hill at first base. The Runoff the hill is causing the water, but after all it's rained a whole lot lately. We'll post some pics when its completed a a few weeks.
