This is a VERY YOUNG Mustangs freshmen team, they've got a lot of maturing and growing up to do. They will have to be developed into a cohesive unit, but have a few years to get there. I'll hold on to my futures stock with them.

Lots of missed baskets and turnovers for Brossart. They really shot themselves in the foot with those and just couldn't stage a comeback.

Mustang you might know him as Chip McHugh. He and is brother Kirk both played for the Red Devils and then at NewCath.

 

Todd (Chip) and Kirk both had very successful Football careers at NewCath. Kirk playing Lb and O-line graduating in 1979 along side Billy Vogt. Todd played o-line and d-line along side Mike Kiernan (ND), and went on to play college ball at St. Joseph' college in Indiana.

 

I will say this if his son scored 20 points in a bball game, that would have exceeded Chip (Todd's) entire career scoring grade school thru IBL at NewCath and pick up games since! Congrats to NewCath and to the Mchugh family.
