At Cooper's Football Banquet last night, the team was awarded the NKOA Sportsmanship Award. This award was first presented in 2005 and is voted on by all the High School Football officials in the NKY area and covers 22 HS Teams in the area. This is the 2nd time that a Coach Borchers team has received the award in it's short existence.

 

Congrats to Coach Borchers and his staff and the players who earned the award by showing great sportsmanship all season long.

The team received a check for $1,250 from NKOA

It's from the Officials Association and I'm sure the money will be going to either the football program or the athletic dept.
