Last time the Engineers went on the road to Somerset they left with a 59-50 win but Somerset has taken the last two matchups against the Engineers, both coming last year.

 

The common opponents between the two teams; Rockcastle County, Southwestern. Estill County is 1-1 with a 75-60 win over Rock while they got pounded by Southwestern 77-51. Somerset is 2-2. They defeated Rockcastle County (twice) 78-66 & 75-49. They however fell to Southwestern both times 83-56 & 67-61 both were at Southwestern.

 

Estill County comes in at 6-8 and averaging right around 56 PPG. Somerset comes in at 11-5 while averaging right around 60 PPG.

 

 

 

I'm not sure if Somerset will air this game on their radio station or not. This is a boy girl double header for Somerset. Somerset Lady Jumpers will play North Laurel. Does anyone know the times of the games? KHSAA has both at 6 PM. KHSAA had the boys game back before the season started at 7:30 but it was changed to 6 PM.

The boys game is at 6 PM. I don't think the radio will be carrying this one, they usually only carry district or games between local teams. If they do I'll shoot you a PM on here or Twitter if you aren't going to be able to make it.

As for the game, Estill has struggled a little bit early on but they are a solid team. I like Somerset playing at home though by about 10.

Somerset by 4 at home. It's not too long until the post season tournaments and coaches will be rating their region's refs. Hard for an out of region team to win if the two teams are fairly even. No 50/50 calls for sure.

What kinda size does Estill have??

Morris who is about 6'4 and Alexander who comes off the bench is 6'8/6'9. Alexander is playing some good ball this year. Morris is averaging 8.6 Rebounds per game while Alexander is averaging 3.2 rebounds a game. Trenton and Trevor Jenkins love to drive inside. Trenton is a forward and Trevor is a guard and both are very very good and only JR's
