Exactly....everyone is down on Tenyer and he was doing what MSU wanted him to do....

No dog in the fight here but are you saying Tenyer had no choice but to fire the staff?

My understanding was that if he took the job, changes needed to be made. Told directly to fire certain people idk, read into it what you want.

Looking from the outside in it would seem the most important changes need to come from the university in the form of improving facilities and having some scholarships to give.

Will never happen.

Will never happen.
How do you know it will never happen....you have inside info or just predicting?

Well first off improving facilities and providing lets say 65 or so scholarship would require a lot of money that Morehead just doesn't have. Ever been to a Morehead game, big crowds let me tell you.

And to answer your question, yes I actually do have a source that works at Morehead.

I hope that is not the case because I like the area but it would seem that if they are not going to make an effort to continually improve than why have a team.

I can't count the number of HS's in KY/Cincy that have better facilities than MSU. It may be easier to count the ones that are on the same level as Morehead. Listen, if you want to play football in the OVC (as MSU did in the past or even compete in the PFL (with Butler, etc..) you CAN NOT lift in a tin can beside the visitor bleachers. The locker room has been updated but the weight room and the training room are OLD and SMALL. Maybe MSU is headed for NAIA status or a drop to division II or III for football only.....

I toured MSU facilities and then some of the in state NAIA and outstate Division 2 schools and they would be behind all of them that I toured. They need to step up or step out with this situation.

Better check your source out then....football is going to improve facilities and team in the very near future.....games that I have been to had very decent attendance also....

I hope you are right, would be nice to see.

Woodson is recruiting the Lexington area heavily right now....doing a good job

The new staff has been recruiting their tails off. I think they had 20 some recruits on campus over the weekend.

Good things in the making for MSU football........watch and see!!!!

Joined to to shed the truth about MSU.

Duffy was a great coach and will be missed on their staff. Very instrumental in one of the most dominate offenses in FCS.

MSU has top notch locker rooms, and new PE bldg that the athletes train in and the best field surface in KY bar none. Whoever talks about their facilities doesn't know what they are talking about. Their stadium does need some work.

Nobody around here NAIA or D-2 is close to MSU in any area and that includes high school. Anyone who says otherwise is not truthful.

Their top players get plenty of aid. Prolly 20 or so get aid, endowments, or some help and about 4-5 prolly pay nothing.

Any other questions about MSU please ask me as I will tell you the truth
