I know I'm clearly biased, but Grant has to be top 1 or 2 coaches in NKY.

 

I tell people all the time that the guy doesn't get enough credit.

NewCath has been killing teams coming out of half time. I would be interested in seeing the 3rd quarter scores of their past 6 games. Grant and crew are making some great adjustments.

 

The two games I have seen were not really making adjustments, but rather putting the ball in the basket at a very high percentage. First 5 are very talented and play well together, bench is not real deep IMO. Weyer gives some quality minutes, but he is only a frosh and does not look to score enough to me. Drop off at guard is pretty big, so the key would be if you could force them to have to go to their bench for a long stretch of a game. Both teams I saw them play, Holy Cross and Newport, pretty much packed it in for the night once NCC made a little run to start the second half. Do not see that happening with Holmes, CovCath or Cooper. Should interesting to see how everything plays out from this point forward.

Agree, Grant always seems to make great adjustments. Definitely one of the better coaches in NKY, IMO. Doesn't hurt to have the talent he has either, but still a great coach.

Doesnt hurt having Jimmy Pangallo next to ya also. That guy could motivate Otis to stop drinking in 10 minutes.
