Heck no, I'm traveling with the fun crowd. Heading down tomorrow afternoon.

 

Much more fun going in a bus with all your buddies than in a truck with Leather. I will be staying to watch the NC, Cooper and Trinity games however.:banana:

Going through Lexington is only 20 more miles and a lot less traffic since bluegrass Pky is the road less traveled. I recommend that route instead of getting tied up on 71. I have driven 71 numerous times recently for work and its got a bad spot near Carrollton and then the interchange near Waterson and 71 was backed up numerous times even back past Gene Snyder. I'd avoid it all together if I were you.

Heck, if time's not a concern just go to Lex then take 68 all the way to BG. Pretty drive. Much better than the expressways.

Leatherneck is already in Bowling Green. He actually missed the 71 turn off and ended up going to Lexington and then the Bluegrass Pkwy. Still made it to Bowling Green in a little over 3 hours.

 

I saw another thread on the highway construction, and it looked as if the closing will effect coming home. Hey, as long as everyone gets to the game on time, nothing else matters.
