Will the Referees be calling tighter games throughout the state?

Featured Replies

For those watching UK last night, Wiltjer did NOT walk in the first half in the lane even though it was called AND Dickie V was incorrect in saying "you can't lift your pivot foot."

If you have a DVR it's easy to catch the mistakes made. It's not unusual for a travel to be called because a play looked odd when , in fact, it was not a travel.

You see it at all levels.

There should also be consistency from 1 team to another! Playing hard does not constitute fouling sorry, no matter what team you play. The Grant Co. boys don't need you taking shots at them for playing hard.

I coach players to play hard at both ends. You can do that without fouling. In my experience, walking into the gym at GC is +15 fouls. Teach them to play hard without fouling and i wont take any shots at them.

Hand checks are a point of emphasis this year. I expect to see and have already seen more of those called. Kids better get used to it and adapt.

"Let 'em bang" is a BGP term of the past.
