Even though the playoff system has a ton of flaws, Butler v. PRP, Eastern v. Ballard, and Trinity v. St. Xavier will make the third round matchups the best games of the entire playoffs. Three of the four biggest rivalry games in Jefferson County (Male v. Manual is the other) should be extremely competitive. I think St. Xavier will play at its highest level and has a shot at knocking off Trinity.

If Trinity was playing anyone other than St. Xavier, I'd be at this game. Should be solid.

Ultimately I expect PRP to advance. Probably stretch it to 10 or so by the end of the game.

I'm going to predict upset here and take the BEARS in a barn burner. IN OT, Butler 30 PRP 27.

My alma mater will be locked, loaded and ready to hunt some Bear this Friday. The Panthers advance in a hard fought game.

I really do like the idea of seeing PRP in the title game this year. I hope the Panthers pull it out.

PRP 31-27.
