November 21, 201213 yr Having looked at this closer it is interesting that the 141 or 158% is actually an undercount number. The voters were given or supposed to be given 2 cards. So the percent was the percent of cards returned versus the number of voters. So if every voter returned both cards as they should have the right number was 200%. So leave to Florida to still screw things up. As a check I eyeballed West counts in St. Lucia county vs. Romney. Most were close as you would expect some were more than 3% or so off. Interestingly it seemed that West did better in precincts where both he and Romney lost and sometimes he did worse where he and Romney were big winners overall. I came to a conclusion there is still a racism factor that kept the West/Romney counts from being closer.
