Don't count out Central in the 7th region. They have practically everyone back from last season. Stuart Jackson, Dominique Chandler, and Jamie Johnson are all top quality players and they have several other very good role players. Coach Bibby does an outstanding job with his team. They play extremely hard and pressure you for 32 minutes. They are capable of beating anyone in the state on any given night.

 

Really looking forward to seeing Central. If those three take a step forward from last season, they could be really fun. I've already circled their game against Male on December 4 as one I want to make sure I see.

I really want to see how this team gels. Stuart Jackson is among the top seniors in the state and if he can lead this team then they may very well have a spectacular season.

That was a major oversight on my part. I was looking at last season's results and didn't fully consider Central's returning players. Jackson, Johnson and Chandler are all very good. They must stay healthy and get others to compliment their experienced and talented players. Cedric Daniels will be a key player for them to develop. If he does, they could be very dangerous. Still worried about their depth, and fatigue at the end of the year could be a problem.

If it's done the same way as last year, there won't be any teams from outside the Louisville area. Last year I think it was the 12 or 16 top teams as done by some ranking system from within the sixth and seventh regions. It was essentially a city championship.

 

I think I'd pay good money to see them put together the LIT as a real city championship.
