Actually, Adair was a decent team and had a pretty good year, albeit, against a weak schedule.. If Tilghman puts the pieces together, they can be a scary matchup.. It's all a matter of focus and getting the right guys in the right position with them.. Wyatt has a tendency to make major position moves throughout the season and if they happen to have gotten it right and they avoid the letdowns and lack of focus, they're as talented as any 3a team out there and that includes Central.. I wouldn't want to play them if thats the case..

Adair was 6-4. and a #3 seed.

 

From a Tilghman fan quote " Tilghman was the better team but Tilghman also literally had the ball bounce its way a few times such as the opening TD when a fumble literally bounced in mid-air to Starks, who ran it in. PT also ran a put back and I think they had a pick 6. This could have ended up 80 to nothing. In the end, Tilghman's speed won the night. Adair never quit, just was not their night and the numbers eventually wore them down. Tilghman is still giving up too much ground yardage on sweeps and off tackle.
