Heath's football program comes to an end.

Good win for the Falcons and doing it with three starters sitting on the sidelines including star QB Chad Wilson. Freshman QB Lincoln Arnett stepped up to bat the last two games doing a fine job managing this team. The Falcons had 499 yds with three backs going over 100...Only throwing the one time tonight!!! Just old fashion smash mouth football!!! :thumb:

Falcons looked good despite the fact 80% of their offense was sitting. Defense played well, but will have to play better if they want to get by PT...

Big test coming up next, it will be interesting to see how PT responds with the long trek to Tompkinsville. PT will have many more athletes and considerably more speed then Monroe, but PT is not very disciplined and are a much different team when not playing in Paducah.

 

The long bus ride and complete contrast in environment between Tompkinsville and Paducah will get the best of Randy Wyatt and company. As long as Monroe takes care of the ball and doesn't give PT extra possessions, I am picking Monroe County by a TD.

If PT comes to play, they'll be a load, if they get in that funk they tend to get in from time to time, then Monroe has a very good shot. I'd never bet on a Tilghman game, to win or to lose, cause they're so up and down.

Monroe will look much different come Friday night. All the players will be back healthy and rested. Falcons gained a lot of confidence playing without 3 main starters and still having success. Coach Petett has planning for this game all season, winning big has allowed him the advantage of showing very few of his cards. Believe me has has been holding out for this game.

Backyard BBQ is the best.

Looking forward to a very exciting game. I think we can pull this one out if everybody comes to play, and Wilson and Hodges are healthy, no doubt they will come to play.

This is not '09 when PT was the least worst team in the 3A playoffs, which was the weakest class in the state. Six losses by a state champion pretty much establishes how poor the talent in 3A was during the '09 season.
