Like the Stanford TD that wasn't, the INT was one of those calls that was going to stand as called either way they called it on the field.

I am in no way a ND fan, but they played tough tonight. Got the good bounces and scored when they needed.

I wouldn't call it gutsy, I'd call it instinct. Not to mention an INT would have been just as bad as the alternatives of a safety or TD. Any of the three meant the game was likely over, may as well try to throw it.

Gusty, Instinctive, could have been that he saw the open reciever. Doesn't matter because they couldnt convert. And now tack on another TD for ND. That will probably jump them up to #3 in the BCS rankings
