I'm not arguing they should be in a different class, i just know they are close so they may be in 1A next realignment. Not a Brossart fan. Think the football plan was poorly orchestrated. Coaching changes don't make up for bad administration choices.

 

No I agree with you 100%. However, in many other threads I have seen the constant "the KHSAA did us no favors by putting us in 2A" statements. My feeling is you are placed where you belong. Now I do agree Brossart would be more competitive on a yearly basis in Class A although some tend to think that would mean instant success. Rather, to me they would be a whipping boy for Beechwood and Bellevue and for the most part Dayton, giving them only the Ludlow game to be competitive in.

I agree the program is struggling, no doubt about that! But you act like the coach gets to decide what class they play in. IMO this has little to with coaching and more with a program deciding they wanted to forgoe independent as opposed to district football. Getting put in 2A by KHSAA didn't help. Not a Brossart fan at all but think it has less to with coaching and more about too much too soon. Good luck getting a reputable coach taking that job while they're in 2A.

 

My point was not that Brossart is not in the class they are supposed to be in. My point was that they had no business playing Scott, a school that much larger than they are.
