formerkywrestler Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Since we've already put some spoilers in the S1 thread I figured we needed to start another one. Once again, they ratcheted up the tension and delivered. That ending was so good, especially after Carrie's "attempted" suicide. I truly gave a verbal yell when she got the news from Saul! Can't wait until next week!
formerkywrestler Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 Oh yea. Claire Danes continues to rack up submission episodes for her next Emmy.
formerkywrestler Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 It's such a contrast to usual TV where shows will linger episodes, if not seasons on something so pivotal as Brody's confessional video. But Homeland just throws it right out there. I have concerns ---even though the show runners have given me no reason not to trust them --- that they can continue this breakneck pace but I plan to ride the roller coaster to the end.
Clyde Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Random thoughts: Almost upchucked when she gagged herself. Her eyes and mouth could win an Emmy by themselves. She has great thighs.
halfback20 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 She is an amazing actress. Good episode tonight. I can't imagine where it will go now.
All Tell Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 My guess Cover-up. Brody was turned and going to retaliate for a drone attack that the VP and director of the CIA have either completely covered up or changed the official report as to who was killed. Saul will show the video to his boss who in turn will show it to the VP who was his boss and the cover-up starts. Where it goes with Brody who knows. Previews showed Brody's handlers telling him to get close to Carrie, could the CIA officially plant Carrie since they know Brody is a plant. Any way you cut it Good Stuff.
halfback20 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 It's interesting that the CIA knows who he is now. I'm sure this will mean constant eyes on him?
formerkywrestler Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 It's interesting that the CIA knows who he is now. I'm sure this will mean constant eyes on him?I can GUARANTEE he will have two sets of eyes on him.
All Tell Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Last season seemed to focus on the ascent of Broady and the decline of Carrie as the season progressed. Could we be in for the opposite this season?
ColonelCrazy Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Great show & great start to season 2. Not sure where it goes from here or how long they can sustain it but I'm in board 100%.
Clyde Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Lebanon is considering a suit against the show. 'Homeland': Lebanon Considering Legal Action Against Showtime Series
formerkywrestler Posted October 22, 2012 Author Posted October 22, 2012 Wow. Didn't waste anytime! Our girl Carrie is definitely back. I'm curious about the new guy. Definitely seems to be more to the story.
