Randy Parker
No doubt in my mind that Montgomery County is #1. I think those next three teams could be placed in any order, because I think GRC will surprise a lot of people. My Lady Bears seem pretty solid at #5. I would, however jump Mason County up to #6. The Lady Royals dramatically improved from the start of last year to the end of last year. Bourbon County is another dangerous, very scrappy squad that could make some noise, so I like them at #7. I would put Harrison County at #8. One could argue that Doram is the region's top player. Unbelievable to me that they aren't in TCP's Top 10. Then I'd go with Pendleton County at #9 & Nicholas County at #10.

He is starting out the season playing Marion County on Nov. 26th at GRC. I look for Marion Co to be pre-season ranked #1 in the state, with the #1 player in Makayla Epps. He has put together a brutal scheule. Besides Marion Co they will be playing Mercy (twice), ranked #2 by Cat's pause in the 6th region, Manual ranked #1 in the 7th. Henderson Co ranked #1 in the 2nd, North Hardin ranked #3 in the 5th, E-Town ranked #2 in the 5th. and Paducah Tilghman, ranked #2 in the 1st. GRC is young and will depend on Jr. Lexie Graham and Sophomores Sandra Skinner and Paige Taylor. Not sure how they will handle the brutal schedul this year, I am sure they will take some lumps, but will only make them better for next year. ColonelPride
Get to know the name Anovia Byars, she will be a freshmen. She started last season as a 8th grader for Bourbon County and is Coach Juan Byars daughter. The Colonels also add Jazzmen Chenault to a team who lost no one from last years team. This is what you should be doing. Where did playing Silver Grove (W 72-18) and Calvary Christian (W 68-20) get you last year? I would (dare I say) dump the All-A and replace with tougher games. All-A gets tough in the end, but it's easy early on - (70-34 over Deming comes to mind) - and you go through it just to end up playing NCC, St. Henry, or Holy Cross in the end - who you can schedule anyway. You have the horses to compete for the next couple of years at least - go do it!

There will be some lumps out of this schedule, but it will only make you stronger in the end. GRC will have some good players. I fully expect Coach Graham to find a good mix of players and make a great run in the 10th. But that road will meet against a very strong Montgomery Co team who to me is the clear #1 in this region. Here GRC has the advantage as we are both in the same district, which if both advance to the region, will put them in opposite brackets.

I was very impressed with Bourbon County when I saw them last year. They might sneak up on some people this season. Unfortunately for them, they'll have to upset either Montgomery or GRC to make the regional tournament.

camelsgohard23
Taylor Robinson is an amazing ball player. This girl is just a stellar athlete and competitor, and she's going to lead the Camels to many wins this season. GO CAMELS!
