I forgot Knott County Central off my list. They'll certainly be in the mix too. It will be interesting this year how the 14th shakes out, but I can't see anyone but those top 4 in the hunt. If new player Johnson is as good as everyone says then his addition to Perry Central might make them the favorite.

Hazard's addition of Hudson, who I heard played well on the AAU circuit this summer, definitely helps the Bulldogs. Breathitt returns most of their team and have Denny Fugate as coach. Denny took several teams to the Sweet 16 when he coached MC Napier back in the early 1980s. He knows how to make his teams play hard, and he knows how to get to Rupp. And Knott Central is the defending champion and have the best guard in the region. It should be interesting and competitive this season in the 14th.

The one thing that hurts Breathitt is Denny doesn't substitute. I watched the Powell County game last year in Stanton and all of Breathitt's starters played all but about 2 minutes and that came at the end of the game.
