It's a battle of unbeatens in Greenwood's home opener (does anyone else not play at home until Week 6?). The Gators have never before been 5-0 and will be looking for a signature win in a game with playoff implications.

Warren Central leads the series 16-3 with 3 straight wins, and lead 7-1 at Greenwood. The last 4 games at Greenwood between the two have been tight games with neither team winning by more than 15 points, and the average score has been Warren Central 17.5 to Greenwood 10.75.

Greenwood is pretty good, but the chances of upsetting the likes of Warren Central went out the window when Tanner Thompson went down. Unless the Dragons get sloppy and turn the ball over, I think they win handidly.

Warren Central 38

Greenwood 20

Feel that Central will just be more than Greenwood will be able to handle. For Greenwood to win Central will have to help them out with some turnovers.

I haven't seen either of these teams play but I would say both teams are built like they usually are, Greenwood will have good size but will lack speed. Central will have speed at the skill positions and will have better athletes/playmakers... Central by 10.

Warren Central 28-7.

It's a shame that the Thompson kid is out for Greenwood. That's a killer blow to the Gators in a game like this where you need at least one guy who can break that long score. Both teams are rolling and should be a great game.

I don't think it will be a low scoring affair this year. Both of these teams are averaging over 42 PPG and both are allowing more than 14 PPG. While recent history in games at the Swamp have been low scoring, I doubt this one will be.

Hard to go against history!
