Who would the Owls want to play come district time? Lee or Estill? I don't think they would wanna tussle with the Bobcats again, in Beattyville. What do you Owlz fans think.

I think that would go both ways. I don't think that the bobcats want to face Owsley in the first round. Owsley could be a very dangerous tournament team. If Robert, Daniel and Trey are hitting from the field, Owsley will be a tough out for anyone, on any floor. Owsley vs. Lee or Owsley vs. Estill would both be good games and don't count Powell out they are always tough at tournament time.

I think this is a homecoming game at Owsley County. Owsley seems to play well on homecoming night in Booneville. Last year they put on a shooting clinic agianst Breathitt county missing only two shots the first half and leading by as many as 21. Breathitt also played extremely well and cut it to 8 points before Owsley county won. This was one of the best highschool games that I have ever watched and I expect Owsley to play well in this one.

That was one heck of a game. High scoring which led people who wern't there to assume no defense was played but that's not true. Many of us at Breathitt actually felt good for Owsley as it was a huge win at the time, new coach and all of that. They beat us fair and square and played one great game.

I think Owsley will be better in this game than the last one. However, I am still taking Estill in this game.

It's hard to beat a team three times in a season, but I would not want to watch Lee and Owsley play again at Lee. It would be a tough game! Owsley would fair well, and could win if they were all hitting their shots. The problem with that is that can be said for any team.

Owsley by 1 or 2. Robert does make a difference and the kid can play, this coming from a guy from Lee

I think that Smith does make the difference in this team. If the ball gets spread around the court by the Owls in this game, I'll take the Owls by 4. Smith is very talented and the Owls WILL BE a dangerous team come tournament time. With all their players back they just need a couple games under their belt. But I think friday will be the turining point.

I heard last night that Neeley had injured his ankle in practice yesterday. I certainly hope this is not true or if true Neeley is not seriously injured. Anyone have any information? Or at least know if Neeley is okay?
