Indians defeat the Cards for the first time since 2007. MC's Tuttle and Preston with big nights to take Montgomery County to 3-0.

 

GRC will play Bryan Station next week in thier home opener.

This was a great game between two big rivals. GRC was down 14-3 at the end of the 3rd. Half time score was 20-10 Moco.

 

With a little over 2 minutes in game GRC was trailing by 3. GRC threw a interception and Moco goes in for the TD.

Great win for Coach Gooch and the Indians. Nice crowd tonight as well.

It sure doesn't. Bryan Station, Henry Clay, Scott County all looming in the immediate future.

 

Penalties were a "little" better, but there were two easily avoidable personal fouls that could have been avoided.

Agree Tuttle a true QB. Preston, GRC could not stop him. Thought Marshall for GRC had a good game.

Thought Marshall did a great job. Splight had some big runs, as did Farris. Some bright spots in the running game - maybe a little more focus on the passing game for next week?

Also thought Davis did a great job tonight with the kicking game. From the Corbin game, I didn't think we had one.

Lots of the players are still upbeat about the remaning games in the season. With a lot of hard practices, GRC might be able to adjust and get in the winning column.
