Theoldguy
^^^ and what is where I think the problem starts with, your Ms.Washburn! She is a editor/woman who I think has her heart set on working at USA Today and getting all the meaty national and international news stories rather than the boring stories of the local fire dept saving a cat stuck in a tree stories. If and when I want to read, listen or watch National News stories or International stories I go to national news outlets but why, oh why do the local TV and newspaper waste space and time giving me those stories when I watch and read the local news outlets for local news. Why can't the Enquirer understand that the vast majority of their readers would rather read about local news than what they can read in USA Today, both have their place, and the Enquirer if it wants to stay in business needs to understand if they cover the local new stories they will stay in business.
