August 5, 201214 yr Author South Kenton starters have had to really good scrimmages. I think they are ready for their first game. South Kenton plays a Boone County Pee Wee team August 12.
August 12, 201214 yr Speaking of youth football, does anyone else have a team that practices on Friday nights? Is that crazy or is it just me?
August 12, 201214 yr Saturday Night, September 22nd, the Xavier University club football team is holding its Youth Football Night. Youth players attending in their youth football jerseys are admitted free with paid adult attendance ($5/adult), and will get to see the Musketeers host Miami University's club team. August 12, 201214 yr I hear Newport Firefighter Juniors are pretty darn good and have a frontline avg 165lbs as well as some stud running backs who can wheel. Talked to their coach the other day and they should be right there with CC Red Devils for the Jr SuperBowl.

This super competitiveness in the NKYFL is why many kids end up quitting football. It should be about teaching kids to play football at this level. I see too many kids spending way too much time on the sidelines at these games. Not saying this is what's happening at SK, I just see too much of it in general in the NKYFL.

All of the players play for South Kenton Starters are first year kids beat a bigger more experienced bunch of kids yesterday. Everybody plays though are numbers are way down.

August 26, 201214 yr Author South Kenton has 2 starter teams. The first year guys got beat last week by Walton bearcats 3 touchdowns to 2 touchdowns. This week we beat Boone County Bearcats in the final seconds it was pretty awesome.
