Basketball season for 2012/2013 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Ludlow ? Remember, please be constructive.

Coach Hart is doing a great job in Ludlow.

The only question is whether or not any of the small schools can keep it close.

 

It's tough to say how they will do against the bigger schools though. I don't think they have the fire power to hang with Dixie but on any given night you never know.

What is your definition of small schools? Since Beechwood, St. Henry and New Cath all play in the All A Classic I would consider them small schools. I think Ludlow will be very good but will have to get by these three schools to win the 9th Region All A. Didn't Ludlow lose 4 seniors to graduation? Do they have a very good sophomore or junior class coming in?

Okay that makes more sense. Best shot for Ludlow to beat a DII school I would think would be against Newport or Lloyd, and no disrepect to either of them at all. And that is if Ludlow plays them. I can't see them beating Highlands, Holy Cross, St. Henry, Holmes, NewCath, or Brossart, maybe Beechwood, but who knows if Ludlow is as good as you say, anything can happen.

I'll take that bet. They typically don't play many DII schools. Their schedule is not posted yet. From last years schedule they play more DIII schools than DII. Can we go on steak night?

It is good to see some optimism from the Ludlow faithful, however, put me down as being from Missouri - "show me". I don't see Ludlow beating anyone but the small schools, nothing wrong with that though, they are a small school.

Ludlow should be able to handle the "small schools" in Div III this upcoming year and I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull off an upset or 2 against some bigger schools under the excellent guidance of Coach Steve Hart. Good to see the program going in the right direction once again as it did under Coach Joe Beard. Go Panthers!

So in my opinion I have to believe that the Panthers will be playing a very respectable schedule this upcoming season. Go Panthers!

Wow. Very impressive schedule for a D III team. I am actually a little surprised that Conner, Dixie, NCC and Campbell County scheduled them but good for Ludlow. This has got to be the strongest D III schedule in NKY. I would be surprised if it wasn't. Good luck to Ludolw. Sounds like they could have a great year.

Not surprised at all. This Ludlow team is going to be strong. I think they will be competetive against those teams and it will be great experience.
