What particular part of the state are you familiar with?

I was just speaking in general terms across the entire country.

That'd never happen in a place like Lexington. I think things like this only happen in huge metro cities.

Many moons ago, late 60s early 70s, a certain head coach of St. Thomas H.S. at the time (who also went on to success at a local college program) did just that in my neigborhood. This stuff has been going on for decades.

Sounds like an ugly situation. It's amazing that coaches feel they have to recruit 12 and 13 year old kids.

Not just Lexingtin Ru but who won the state tourney last season?

That sounds a lot like my middle school and aau games in Louisville. Guys are do blatant here you would think it is legal

This happens everywhere nation wide. See as middle school aged kids, its kinda a free market for them. College coaches can talk all they want to them. HS coaches can talk all they want to them, MS coaches can talk all they want to them. I saw a coach last weekend at a camp, trying to get kids to come visit his MS in another state so he could lure them in. Its only going to get worse before it gets better, with parents and players mentality of GIVE ME GIVE ME.

Have you ever suffered though a 7-14 season? Lol! Sadly, nobody is happy leaving any gym with a loss.
