June 1, 201214 yr Failed squeeze attempt. 2 outs. Runner on 3rd. Not a fan of the announcer calling this game. He spent more time talking about who they tagged at third, then telling us anything about the failed squeeze bunt attempt. Would have been nice to know how it failed so badly.

June 1, 201214 yr I had zero clue as to what actually happened. Same here, he did a very poor job calling that play. Then when they were figuring out who should be out, he could have actually talked about the play. Frankly I didn't care who they tagged out, because no matter what one of the guys were out. I wanted to know about the play.
June 1, 201214 yr Why did the announcer say "the 3 hole" when mentioning who was coming up? Isn't Luke Maile in the 3 hole?
June 1, 201214 yr Did Maile get hurt? No good reason he's out of the game otherwise. After he got the hit in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game, they put a pitch runner for him. I guess they were trying to win it right then.
June 1, 201214 yr I'm told Maile pulled a muscle running. That might have been the reason then. I just know after his hit, was when they pitched ran for him.
