Per the KHSAA Scoreboard for the 37th District Championship Game.

Mustangs build a 7-0 lead through 6 1/3rd innings, then survive furious Scott rally to preserve a 7-6 victory and claim the 37th District Championship.

 

Jesse Orth pitched five shutout innings and gets the win.

 

Both teams will advance to the 10th Region Tournament next week at Montgomery County High School in Mount Sterling.

I wouldn't call it upset scott had mental mistakes early that cost them runs and then when you don't hit until the 7th inn its hard to win. All around I think scott has more talent with the exception of norton they just need to be smart and hit better, I beat up the coaches for scott earlier in the year I see some improvement so let's hope they keep it in the right direction.

Brossart won 10-6 during regular season. Brossart lost to Camels 4-3 in regular season forcing a three way coin flip. Scott was No. 1 seed by the coin flip.
