Do the Reds have the best pen???

Featured Replies

I didn't stop posting in the Reds thread when the Reds were at or below .500.
There's a point there?

You're the one that brought it up. You tell me. I see you continue to ignore Johnson's history of arm problems.

Yea, if my team was at .500 I wouldn't be starting a thread calling out another member's favorite team for underperformance. But that's just me. :idunno:

I was calling you out for being a bandwagon fan. I stick with my team good or bad, but that's just me.:idunno: Still no comment on the Marlins handling of Johnson? :idunno:

^Johnson seems to have had a history of arm issues his whole career. I'm failing to see any link between the Marlins usage of him and injury. :idunno:

You are BEYOND ridiculous. I"m FAR from a bandwagon fan. I just don't flood a board with no Marlins fans with series updates the entire year while essentially talking to myself in the threads. It doesn't interest me and seems like the courteous thing to do...

Didn't know his career started elsewhere. :idunno:

Pretty much my response.

My bad then. Could have sworn I saw a thread started by you about the 2011 World Series Champs vs. the 2012 World Series Champs. Once again. My bad. Must have been another Marlins fan talking to himself. :sssh::D:D

It started in Florida. That doesn't mean they misused him. Homer Bailey has had injury issues his whole career. Does that mean the Reds have misused him?

Yea...I start a few and I always have. But I'm not going to do an update every series. I never have in my 10 years on this board. Should I start now to satisfy your requirements?

And that is my whole point. You never know how a pitcher is going to react to how he is used. Arm injures happen whether a pitcher throws a low amount of innings, or a large amount of innings. Just because Chapman isn't in the rotation yet doesn't mean the Reds have been stupid in how they have handled Chapman his first two seasons, and this season. Each organization has their own plans for their pitchers, and I have no complaints on how the Reds have handled Chapman.

I don't have any requirements. I was just having some fun, and seeing if your expectations of the Marlins being 2012 World Champions had changed.

So one isn't allowed to have an opinion that he should've been a starter from day 1?

I'm really not sure what you're trying to prove...

So you think him being in the pen is the best use for him?
