April 26, 201214 yr No way they go offense with both the first round picks, I don't care who is sitting there. If they can't get a CB, they will draft a LB, DT or trade down.

April 26, 201214 yr They have plenty of corners but no number 2 WR! Every corner they have is awful, except Leon Hall, who may not even be ready this season. Not a single corner they have is #2 CB material, let alone a #1 cover corner. They have plenty of talent at WR, and can get more solid #2 types in the 2-4th rounds of the draft. Can't get an elite caliber CB in those rounds.
April 26, 201214 yr If Gilmore is gone, then I would not take a cornerback with either first round picks. I don't see Kirkpatrick doing that well in the NFL, and his ball skills are not that great. The only safety worth picking the first round probably would be gone. Have to think one of the two 1st round picks will be a guard for the offensive line. Which if they do that, and get a WR then I have no problem with it. If they go corner and WR I probably would not like it. #2 receiver is something big that needs to be addressed. More and more teams will double cover Green now, especially if we have no one worth a darn at #2. If Floyd falls to them, I would be fine with it and I believe he will be the best one in the draft. Stephen Hill while not a great pick, is another pick I would be fine with, however I don't want any part of Kendall Wright at receiver. If they address the o-line with the first pick, then I am fine with them also getting a WR. I'd much much much rather they draft depth at DT, DE, or LB instead of go WR. Brockers, Upshaw, Kuechly, Coples, Poe, etc., are all better picks than a WR.

April 26, 201214 yr I'd say he's a boarderline #2, more suitable at this point to a top notch nickel guy.
April 26, 201214 yr I agree, if Kuechly is there you have to take him. I read a comparison to Urlacher out of college.
