So why is it always W/L with you?

Why can't it be a learning experience, a growing experience, or a trip of a life time for a bunch or kids, who I am sure had a ball?

Why does it always have to be about W/L?

Darn it, I just broke a rule that I swore I wouldn't break again and that is to post on a HHS thread but why not just let the kids have fun while learning and playing a game, that most will never play again on any level out of HS. Can't some things in this day and age just be fun!

So they lost some games but I am sure the kids had a ball playing against teams that were from different parts of the Country. They I am sure grew as a team together and it just might make some sixth, seventh or eight graders to continue to play baseball because of the great trip and experience they get to have as a member of the HS team!

Why w/l because that's why kids play the game. Serious I get the trip of a lifetime whole deal and the complexe may be great. Do you really think JB plays the game and doesn't care about winning or losing. WRONG he works his butt off to win games and if you think he doesn't care you are as goofy as I am.

Yes it can fun but do you think it is fun getting beat 13-1. Come on get A grip.

Ok smart guy u don't even know me or my son. And if you did you would know that he has no clue about baseball. If he wanted to play he would have and he would have stayed home from spring break if that's what it took. Why do people always have to bring up the spring break rule. if football was in the spring the state of Fla would be in trouble because the city of ft Thomas would not be there.

This guy has no agenda I think JB does a nice job point is he needs to go some where he can make a difference and be appricated

Q11. Do you think a fast ball going 65 mph from 42 isn't hard to hit. It's like a 85 mph from the baseball pitching mound. Would stand you in there anytime and see how you fare.

Actually I do know you and I know what got you upset with Jeremy. I also know you've ragged on him on another site in the past.

I don't care if you don't like him. Just be upfront about it. You throw out shots at him and then say "wait, I like Jeremy - it wasn't a shot" when it's obvious it was.

I didn't say anything about spring break. I know what the issue was for you as you've brought it up on here previously.

Debate his strategies all day long. That's more than fair. Just be honest about it.

I don't want to put words in any man's mouth, so I'll go from my perspective. If ABC had any beef w/ JB that was years ago, and before I knew and coached with him. His son has done quite well for himself, so any bitterness, I'm sure has been washed away. I've personally never heard ABC say anything negative about Highlands baseball program, and I thought that his question about why they were so young was very fair. Highlands faithful ask the same question.

In my opinion, JB is doing exactly what he needs to do. He's going to ride his Sophomores and Freshman and use them as the group that brings Highlands back. They are a very talented collection of players. This year will be rough, but the next few will be much better. That's exactly what Shulkens did at NewCath w/ my class. He started 4 sophomores from my group, made NewCath baseball relevant again, and has had a much easier time getting kids out b/c of the success.

Thanks mexi matter of fact the boy texted this morning and he is starting at d end for the eagles in spring. Redshirted last year worker hard grew another 2 inches now 6-4 220. Don't think not playing baseball has hurt him.
