Bottom line, Tebow was under contract and truly was at the mercy of Denver management. I don't understand the hullabaloo about this. What did he say that was false? I read the whole shebang and read no dishonesty by anyone in any of it. I'm not a huge Tebow supporter at all, but it seems he draws an awful lot of ire and scrutiny that is unwarranted, IMO.

I think it is pretty clear doc, at first Tebow said he didn't have any (“didn’t have any [say]” in his destination) say in his destination and the Broncos said they were letting Tebow choose which team he went to.

Let's say that you wanted my input on how to improve BGP. It could be said that I "have a say" in how BGP is run.

 

But bottom line, you own the site & what you say, goes. So it could truthfully be said that I "don't have a say" in how BGP is run.

First Tebow said do what is right for the Broncos and then he said the Jets were a better option for him. The Broncos traded him to the Jets and went on record saying the Jags were offering more but they traded Tebow to the Jets instead.

Not sure what Tim was thinking, but imagine anyone being told you are no longer being needed here and are gonna move to another location in the US. You still get your salary but bein uprooted after doing well has to bother your head some.

 

Noel Mazzone Offensive Cordinator for UCLA worked with Tim a few weeks in February and said when Tim first heard of Peyton coming to Denver he had nothing but nice comments about the whole situation.

 

Back in 1986 CSX Railraod closed the South Louisville Shops, we were given several choices, Huntington WVA/Corbin Kentucky/Waycross Georgia. A buyout of one year salary. So I actually went thru this. We got to keep our salary. I had choices of the three cities. I asked for a buyout.

He didn't have any say in the decision. They asked him his opinion, and he gave it. That doesn't mean he made any type of decision. No one is lying and those who say he is are grasping at straws to paint Tebow in a negative light.
