North Carolina / Ohio Updates

Featured Replies

UNC retakes the lead 63-61 with 35.8 left. Cooper got hit in the eye and got back slowly, leading to an open 3 for UNC.

Money says Ohio tries a three. Every team down 2 in this situation has tried one during the tournament.

Oh wow, what a mistake. Ohio gets the shot and the foul. Tied at 63 with 25.3 left and Ohio to the line for 1.

And he misses it.....

UNC doesn't get a shot and Ohio draws iron on a heave just past halfcourt. Wow.....

That was close to going in.

I have a feeling UNC puts this one away in OT.

Yeah, Ohio is in some pretty bad foul trouble. Two key players have four fouls.

Ohio has lived a lot by the three this game, but they take some really stupid shots from there. Cooper heaved up what looked to be about a 28 footer.

Two big free throws for Ohio. 68-65 UNC, 1:30 left.

Barnes just a great job o getting his man in the air and draws a foul with 2 seconds left on the shot clock. UNC back up 5 at 70-65 with less than a minute to go.

Ohio gets nothing but air on a three point attempt (after walking and getting away with it). 38 seconds left, UNC to the line for two. 70-65 UNC.

Ohio played a good game, but the talent difference showed in OT.
