Birds brushed off the opening day jitters to get a good win. Sophomore second baseman Evan Allen had opposite field gapper to score Jake Lester from second. Juniors Murray & Schultz combined to strike out 14 Camels in the win.

Looks like the Birds used both their aces to get the win.

Congrats to the young Soph Evan Allen with the big poke to the gap.

Nice work Birds lets keep it rolling. Need some wins this season.

Congratulations to the Birds. Didn't make this one. Spent my gas money on gas for the lawn mower.

Nice win for the Birds. I heard there was a pretty big crowd on hand to watch the game.

After a 10-10 tie with Conner yesterday (dark after 7 innings), Varsity Birds are off today and face Bellevue tomorrow at Highland Park.

Bring some cash and buy some pizza, candy, hot dogs and sodas from the concession stand.

Hope the rain doesnt spoil the Pizza Party.

Most should have anywhere from $3-$5 from not having to pay admission to get in. Keep the concession stocked.

Amen brudder! It will be stocked and running, assuming the thunder showers hold off of course.

Congrats Birds and special congrats to Evan Allen for the clutch hit. That's good stuff.
