Will Newport have any home games in 2024?

If I'm not mistaken, that would place them on the opposite end of the stands from where they used to be, so bottom of your pic. I think the steps are by the Linden/9th intersection if I'm remembering correctly. -

I have heard Jordan Griffin has expressed interest. Not sure how much truth is behind that. -
2024 Dixie Heights Colonels

Too many athletes roaming the halls and not playing football at Dixie has been a long time problem, and from what I'm hearing, it's going to be a continued problem. The difference between this and basketball, IMO, is that athletes make an impact in football not basketball. Basketball needs basketball players, which aren't roaming the halls. -

I do know one of those freshmen games will be against Dixie at SH to start the season. -
Just last year. I believe he is to make $15 million this year.

The talk about under-achieving and only winning a couple regionals, when was the last time they were favored to win the region and lost? The only time I can recall is maybe back around the mid 2000's with Doug Jones and the Bramlage brothers where they lost to Ryle. For Dixie being a borderline 5A/6A school, their class of athletes has always been cyclical going back to the 90s. So it's not like there are athletes just walking around the halls not playing basketball. 2 years ago was the last class as they reached the finals where they lost to CovCath. Dixie's biggest issue has been, and always will be CovCath. Dixie's district is Edgewood, Villa Hills, and Park Hills. CovCath's biggest pull is Edgewood, Villa Hills, and Park Hills. The top athletes in their district are going to CovCath as they have the better track record. The only way Dixie can potentially make some headway is to make a home run hire, and Sullivan may be that guy from a basketball standpoint. -
2024 NKY Frosh Football Scores & Rankings

8th grade team this past season was solid, and I believe beat Highlands in the large school championship. The 3 he listed were the top teams in the large school division over their 7th and 8th grade seasons. -
Word now is that he's signing a 1 year deal with the Bengals.

Newport 46 Cooper 39 (9th Region Championship)

The amount of pain he appeared to be in along with the inability to put weight on it made it look much worse than a simple strain. I hope it is just a strain, but I also hope they’ve had an mri or ultrasound to confirm no tear. Either way, these take time to heal and if you come back too soon, you risk further damage. I just can’t see him playing effectively next week, but we’ll see. -

If Kinney’s injury was indeed a hamstring, and if anyone on here knows the family, tell them to stay away from St. Elizabeth. Tell him to go to Beacon and see Kremchek’s team. St. Elizabeth is horrible with hamstrings. I just went though it with my daughter. -
Sounding like a 7th round pick. Better than nothing.

Bengals reportedly working out a trade with the Texans for Mixon instead of just releasing him.

The games I watched last year, Gregg just didn't look comfortable throwing the ball. It was almost like he was scared to make a mistake. From the glimpses I've seen along with some things he's done in the offseason, I think if he just goes out there and plays without the fear of making a mistake, he can be a very good passing qb.
