It’s definitely prostitution. Which keeping all other opinions aside is still illegal.

Some one should come out and say she isn’t a virgin and in exchange for their silence a couple hundred G’s should work. How exactly are you supposed to prove otherwise?

My thoughts exactly. How is that a legally binding contract? Doesn’t seem to me like it would be?

If Williamstown had a football team people would show up to see the band at halftime and leave.

Maybe I’m being too optimistic about it but I would certainly like to believe it would be supported.

I honestly don’t care if they want to check my receipt. It doesn’t take long. I also don’t shop at Wal Mart. I can get basically anything at Wal Mart that I can get any where else. Groceries and home supplies I go to Kroger. Anything else I go to a store that specializes in whatever it is I need. I wouldn’t go to Wal Mart for sporting goods, electronics, etc. anyways. I’m with UKMF, it’s just not for me.

If Grant County had a winning football program the community would support it. I have no doubt about that.

Yeah Iím not the person to ask about that. I will say that Dalzell used to run a very good middle school program but it never translated to High school success. I have no idea how the MS program has been the past few years.

Interest in the hallways is zero. It was when I was in school there and years later I’m sure it’s still that way. It’s so hard to build a program when kids don’t want to play football nor do they care about the program. If you start winning they will come, but without the players you stand no chance. I know GC isn’t alone in the state, but it sure feels like GC Head Coach is the toughest job to turn around in the state.

Community support comes from winning and making progress. I think Grant County could support a football program, but it starts with winning. IMO getting blown out by your 3 district opponents every year is counter productive.

How can you get any better without support from the administration and the community? I don’t see how that support can be earned by being in competitive year in and year out against every team in your district. Yes it sucks that GC can’t compete but there just isn’t the talent level at the school nor do they have even enough kids playing sports period to support a 5A football program. They are a 5A school with the same number as kids playing...

I honestly can’t think of many people who did more for the baseball community of northern Kentucky than Clint Brown. Not just the Freedom but his passion for Youth Baseball was unparrelled and his impact on the community will be felt for many generations. I had the pleasure of getting to know Clint very well and he truly was a great man that loved life. Clint put all of himself into everything and he was extremely passionate. It’s been a long...

Will there be/ should there be any restrictions on transferring to a school that the head coach at your former school moved to? That could cause some mass chaos if there aren’t restrictions.

I don’t think its significantly more one way or the other. There would be kids transferring in and out for both reasons.

One thing that was discussed is the grad transfer rule would still be in place. So in theory you could play at 3 different schools during your college career.

How does Alabama convince that player from Toledo that he is going to play over the guys in front of him? The reason they would transfer to Bama or one of of the brand name schools is because they want to get to the NFL. But it’s not guaranteed that they would get to showcase their skills at Bama in the first place. It’s a double edge sword for sure. If it does pass it will drastically change college athletics. No doubt about it.

I’m on the side that thinks this evens the playing field for smaller schools. Let’s say player A is at Alabama was a 4 star recruit but after a couple of years hasn’t seen the field because he has 2 5 stars in front of him. That player could leave and play immediately at any school of his choosing. I see it both ways.

And they are good enough to get by most teams in the league with that thinking. The Jags were too good to let that happen.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on Haley then. I don’t think he’s Josh McDaniels but I think he’s in the top tier of 10-12 playcallers in the league.

I believe that having a culture of arrogance has an effect on games. You honestly think the Steelers went into that game the same way they would have approached the Patriots game? I don’t.

I don’t believe in giving teams bulletin board material. Is the Patriots act boring and probably fake? Hell yeah it is but it works. Same with Saban at Bama.

By discipline I mean more than just on field antics or dumb penalties. More about things like last week leading up to the Jags game it was all talk about the Patriots. Tomlin said he was ok with that. AB Facebook living the locker room last year. Just stupid stuff like that. You don’t see stuff like that from the Patriots. I may be wrong but I think the Patriots are who the Steelers aspire to be. A good start would be to act like the Patriots do.

Do the Steelers fans on here think there is a discipline issue on the team? Without bashing the Bengals in your post please.

If the relationship with Ben was really that bad then I’m cool with it. From what I’ve heard it’s just that Ben doesn’t respond well to Haley’s coaching style. Personally I’d like someone like Haley to coach the Bengals. Authoritarian style. I still think the Steelers are giving up a really good OC.

How do you know Tomlin is a great coach? He won a championship with a team built by Cowher and has never been able to get past the Pats unless someone else does it for them. With the talent on that team it seems silly. What percentage of the Steelers losses in the playoffs since Tomlin has been there have been because they were out coached? They were definitely out coached last week.

That’s the question. But to me it’s silly to point the blame at someone who was successful at his job when the reason the Steelers can’t capitalize on their offensive talent is because the defense is garbage.

I don’t have a problem with what you said about Cal. Cal is also infinitely more valuable to UK than Tomlin is to Pittsburgh.

So give up a really good OC for a QB who has contemplated retirement at the end of each of the past 2 seasons. Makes sense.
