Wow, 28 is no small task! Congrats to the young man and to you, the parents, for raising such a good and solid young man!

I did see this article, and I know there is always an explanation for anything that someone finds, I just find it a little odd all of these things happening, and then people bring them up and get called crazy for it but all of these things occur. Again, I don't think it was a hoax, it just comes across as odd that continuously these things happen. There was another young lady whose picture was used as a child missing in another state, it...

Played D3 football at Thomas More for a year and a half. Tore my rotator cuff in my shoulder and gave it up, would have missed all of my sophomore and junior season for recovery. It was awful. I remember sitting down at the coaches desk and telling him I was quitting. Hardest thing I ever did at the time, I am not a quitter.

I saw a video which brings up a pretty interesting thing. One of the children that died at Sandy Hook had the exact same picture used from Sandy Hook as a young child that died in a school shooting in like Pakistan or another foreign country.

Is that a direct statement to me, or this situation? LOL. You hit the nail on the head. And if you are going to treat your employees terribly, you better make sure you have no skeletons in the closet that they can use. The worst part about this is that a man, possibly innocent, but who knows, sits in a cell because of this lady. I feel bad for David Dooley, honestly. I don't know if he is guilty, by all accounts he could be, but I...

I don't think you ignore it, completely, but if I remember correctly CK was the primary focus of ESPN for almost a month and the others that decided to chime in with him.

Not trying to start an argument with you, but I don't think whether people at ESPN agreed with it or didn't agree with it is the premise that is being discussed. I think it is more the idea that it was being discussed in a political view, period, on these shows that turned people off. I know some of the shows did that for me. No matter what my beliefs on the matters were, I got tired of listening to the debates about it and not enough about...

Crazy, I played college football with the "whistle blower," had no clue it was him. Interesting stuff, though, if true. If this is true, it is super sad and puts a lot of questions into the cases she tried and if they were conducted fairly. I feel like this could get a lot bigger, and it is kind of sad. The "Chiquita Queen" seems like a sleaze ball.

It amazes me that they only play one round of district games during the baseball season. Most of these teams play 35ish games in a season. I know it may still end up being a tie in the district but playing two times each, like basketball, I think would prevent this from happening. The drawing out of a hat is kind of crazy to think about who will have the 1 seed.

I know that there were waiting to hire an Athletic Director before proceeding with this position. I have no first hand knowledge but have heard interviews will take place in the next week or two. Have a couple friends that applied for the position, but I wonder how many they will interview.

Dang, I should have verified, it was 2006 and they were really good that year, and that was Petrino's last year I think lol. My bad. That is the year they won the Orange Bowl. See what happens when you don't verify a response and your a quick trigger. My bad on that one.

I used to be a corrections officer, so I may be able to help out a little bit here. Yes, corrections officers are trained, somewhat, to know what to look for in terms of things out of the ordinary, but there is way more to that than anyone could know. If you stripped every inmate that showed some sign of depression every time they did it you would have every inmate in a solitary cell in a suicide gown. It is prison, people get upset and...

While I agree that this is super tacky, do not act like UL doesn't get rings for going to bowl games. A high school friend of mine who played for UL has a ring from 2007, don't remember the bowl game, but they went 6-6 under Kragthorpe. In the end, no team should ever get rings unless they win the whole darn thing, but I slightly understand conference champions getting rings.

From seeing him first hand numerous times, I know one thing about Adam, very few people will out work him. He is such a hard worker and really works on his game all the time. It was really neat to hear the stories about how him and Sean McNeil would go after each other in spring and summer open gyms. He is such a competitor! His size hurts him, which he knows, but if he could put on about 15 pounds of muscle before college someone is going to...

I don't know that him coming back is a real good idea for his basketball stock, but I love it for him getting his degree and having a plan for after basketball. It seems that every year he harms his draft stock more than he helps it. At this point, I think he has to return because he definitely needs his degree and he gets to play at a major program one more year.

Sad story of a young man that went down the wrong path, seemingly after his father passed away. I have mixed emotions on this: first I feel like he is a coward for taking the easy way out. He deserved to rot in that prison cell for the murder of Odin Lloyd. The other part of me feels so bad for a dude that seemed to have the world by the tail and not even 2 years later thinks the only way to get through life was to end it. Tragic life...

A few names I expect to hear a lot from this year for Cooper that you didn't hear a ton of last year. Armour - WR. Started last year as a sophomore and was Cooper's 3rd or 4th leading receiver. He will be the primary guy this year in a young WR core and he should get plenty of touches. Good routes, hard worker, and hands are improving. Witschey - Was a freshman last year, played QB for the freshman team and Safety. Very athletic,...

I don't think it is surprising. Obviously he is a motivated young man now that he has righted his path and he was very talented and received coaching from some of the best coaches in the country so he might bring a wealth of knowledge. Plus, he obviously knows how to interact with the kids knowing seeing the work he has been doing in schools recently. Good for Zeke and good for CCH giving him a shot

I think the 5 you mentioned are about it. Louisville is very good, no knock there but just not the same "tradition" in my opinion and IU has been irrelevant for to long, imo. Michigan State has been strong but for how long? I don't know that they are a blue blood as compared to a really solid, top 10 program in the country

I know some opposing DE and Defensive Coordinators who will not be upset. (Just kidding) you hate to see the injury bug force a kid to give up the sport when he had so much going for him! Good luck to the young man in whatever he pursues

I think it is very different than an oop. That usually occurs around the basket or on fast breaks. If there is no offensive goaltending I'm recruiting a 7'0 dude to stand on the block and tell the guards to shoot a 3 every time. An oop is lobbed to someone and the defense can attempt to make a play on it. A shot is much different, looks much different, and the defense can do nothing until it hits the rim, while the offensive player could go up...

What if you have a high riser who you just shoot three's all day and allow him to go catch it and slam it down. Defense can't make a play because of goal tending but offensive guy can jump up, grab it and score.
