Sometimes I feel that people forget to think that a good head coach isnt just a person that can draw up some fancy x's and o's, that is the easiest part of the job, but more importantly its how that person manages players, parents, fundraising, boosters, paperwork, how they work with their youth teams (middle school, AAU, etc), and many other aspects of coaching that people NEVER see. It all depends on those people on the committee and what they feel is most important. -

I think Montgomery will struggle if they run into a team with equal athletism because I do not think Montgomery is very deep. In their regional run, they only went 6, maybe 7 deep if needed. Also, if Montgomery runs into a good post player, they might have some trouble. They do not get much production from the 5 spot (on either end of the floor) and if Prewitt should end up in foul trouble having to gaurd a big, they might struggle. -
Any pitcher can get beat on any night, but if either of these two get beat this year, more than likely it will be due to the lack of offensive production, not from pitching. Woodford will get everyone's ace this year, should be an exciting season.

I may be wrong, but did Brossart even score that game against him?????????? If it is my understanding of how that game went, Woodford's bats did not come alive until the 9th, Holland was dominant.

Didnt even think about him not being in the 10th...........my bad!

The "You're Not For Real" Award Woodford County's Eli Boggess (usually pronounced "bo-gus")

My guess is that whomever has the best state tournament showing will win, or at least whomever goes the furthest.

Love me some Code brothers, but I think ole Happy has had to make a few adjustments once or twice in his lifetime against some pretty good competition. If we want to compare head to head on which coach could make better adjustments, my vote would go to Happy. Did not get all those wins in college for not making adjustments.
