Rivershore is completely different now. GM Bill Chard took over down there 2 seasons, he has the place full just about every weekend now between adult slow pitch, girls fast pitch, and youth baseball. He is the National Vice President of the World Softball League based out of Florida and has the Shore going back in the right direction. They only negative I can say is they are strict on outside food & beverages coming into the park.

They don't have temp fences at Softball City to put up. However, Rivershore Sports Complex in Hebron has 6 sets of temp 200' fences. If someone from this event contacts the General Manager, Bill Chard, at Rivershore. I am sure he is willing to work something out so the girls have fences.

Mike was one of my coach's at Lloyd in the 80"s under Gary Dearwater. I also played softball against him. Great man, he will me missed. Prayers to the entire Burns family!

Yes he is. The Caple boy at Dixie is Denny Caple's son. Mike, who passed away, is Denny's nephew.
