  1. Unfortunate to Ryle but they will get blown off the field. St X 49 - Ryle 14.
  2. Update: I'm hearing there will be coverage on channel 20. That the school/County is trying to get some kind of signal and broadcast.
  3. It wasn't the last play of the game so how can you possibly make the statement that the outcome would of been different. If Dixie is better than CCH then that will be determined in the playoffs. Get over the play and send good vibes to your team for a successful playoff run.
  4. Good luck to all teams. We are lucky to have teams in our area making a run for a state title. Bring home some winners.
  5. Dixie brought 7 varsity starters to play in this JV matchup. CCH played 90% sophomores. The game that counted was played the night before. So I guess Dixie really wanted to win a meaningless game.
  6. What is very interesting about the sidelines is that the players have the best seat in the house. The area marked for the players and coaches is more than adequate for a view of the whole field. I think the distance from the sideline to the designated area is @3 yards. Very prime spot for a sporting event. Yes it is the team's responsibility to manage their sideline. I would even bet that every high school team carries a coaching staff of 10-15 coaches. assign one for the responsibility of your sideline. Hard lesson for Dixie during a great game but if they were warned and did not comply shame on the coaching staff.
  7. Games and stats are not made on "what if's". Wilson is a great QB and had an awesome game but Erpenbeck got the better part tonight.
  8. What was embarrassing was the man running the clock. He did better at "spinning records" than operating the clock properly. What a fiasco at the end of the game. He sounded the end of game horn with 30 seconds left on the clock during a play and had issues with starting and stopping the clock for out of bounds. I say nix the music if you don't know how to multi-task.
  9. It was a very exciting game. Officiating was mediocre. CCH TD called back for holding which came flying out of the refs pocket when the CCH receiver crossed the goal line after a 45 yd reception and run. It was like dejavue to the CCH sophomores who experienced a late flag throw by the ref when CCH was going for the lead in last years freshman matchup. Even more ironic was that it was thrown at the same end of the field where the spectators don't have a view. Just an observation. I also want to add that this was the first game for the CCH JV in over a month. The future is looking good fore the Colnels.
  10. Has Simpson had to play a full game yet. He has built his stats just playing half games. Collinsworth is over rated. He can't take a hard hit. Collinsworth is a slasher. When he gets a solid hit he fumbles the ball. Look at his last two games.
  11. Hoosierbird does that give a player the right to punch another player on the field. To me that equals no class. The coach should of pulled him from the game and put him on the bench. The term "Homer" is implied when you lose the game. Penalties are missed on both sides of the ball.
  12. Clyde I have to disagree with you. Last years team lost 100 -0 in two games. Much improvement from last year and I am very excited about the next 5 years for the CCH program. It will be on a roll with the talent.
