  1. In all honesty, why on Earth would a college coach say something negative about a recruit's team or an area high school team? By putting down a team, you run the risk of ruining the relationship with the coach. By putting down a team/performance you run the risk of losing the kid. I don't know a smart college coach that would say anything bad about a team that got to the state final, it's recruiting suicide.
  2. 22 games in 48 days in 3 states (KY, MO, TX) I think you could possibly say that fatigue played a part. Just saying even for high school kids, that's obscene. 10 days until their next game should give them some time to recover and get some things fixed. PRP with an impressive record since the New Year, they'll be a (big) player in March for sure.
  3. He jumped over Ty Proffit, not their center (Walt Allen). The impressive part was how far away he was and yes he literally jumped over the kid. Ty got the "tea bag" chant the rest of the game. Lee also had a nice reverse dunk over Andres Pegues of Western that year. Not to mention countless others.
  4. J-town should be in the top tier. They haven't faced any tough teams yet, but they will be in the top tier. Everyone will be talking about them soon enough.
  5. Ballard, Seneca, Trinity in one district. Don't forget about J-town either, they're just as good as all of these teams.
  6. Every level for the last two years? Sure they got the sweep last year in two very close games but 1/8/08 Ballard 72 Eastern 71 1/19/08 Eastern 66 Ballard 58 (LIT) 2/1/08 Ballard 78 Eastern 74 Might want to get your facts straight on that one.
  7. If I remember correctly he had quite a few last year in Georgetown too. He really struggled with the pressure.
  8. Now that I look at the rankings they aren't too far apart. Guess it was a good win?
  9. Musta seen it differently on TV. I thought they called him for falling over his leg. Either way a great game, hard to see Ballard let it slip away like they did though.
  10. The last foul on Ballard was mega harsh. Ballard let it slip away for sure, but that was a horrible call at the end.
  11. Basketball homecoming is almost non-existant at Ballard. Football homecoming is the formal one. I never once attended a basketball homecoming dance (no one did), but I am surprised that they cancelled it, especially because I never remember them selling tickets to it either. Was at Ballard vs. Scott County this year though and BHS had a better student section than SC on a school night 1 hour away.
  12. Don't read much into the whole storming the court thing. It's easy to do at Ballard and usually happens anytime it's a close game going down to the buzzer. Sounds like an exciting game...wish I coulda been there.
