Nicholas Co will be left "blue" on this one. Bath Co by 2 TD's:eek:
-
I watched Prestonsburg in their last 2 games against Corbin and DeSales and I will have to say that Burchett is a very impressive passing quarterback. If Prestonsburg could have established somewhat of a running a game, the score would have been reversed in this game and I do believe by a couple of touchdowns to the Blackcats. I am not sure of his name but #25 from Prestonsburg also played a really good game and with a lot of heart. From Desales #11 has got to be one the most versatile players I have seen this year, he played in every aspect of the game. He punted, QB, ran the ball, special teams and if they could have found a way to put him on the line I believe he would have been there. Congrats to both teams, you guy provided with another great Friday night game.

Bath Co is very young this year. The future is very bright in Bath Co for the next several years. Josh Terry is back at full strength, Caleb Kilburn and Hayden Swartz also had very strong games this week. Bath totally dominated this game from the end of the 1st quarter. Go Cats!

Bath Co. has a ton of injuries and is a very young team this year. Congrats to the Lions! Much improved from last year.

Bath County/Nicholas County Predictions

First time doing a poll! -
Let's try this again! Whats your thoughts on this game? I am going with Bath Co. 24-8, Home field advantage plays a big part in this game.
-
What's your thoughts on this one? I think this will be a good game as always but Bath Co. takes this one 24-8 because of the home field advantage.
-
The Cats will be fine in 09! I think Bath County may have to go away from the traditional hard nosed up the middle game they normally play and rely on the speed of Aaron Ashby Boyd and Josh Terry. Kilburn will play a huge part in the defense this season. The only thing that scares me in the least bit is the line, the new guys are going to have to really step up to replace the linemen Bath Co lost. Go Cats!

What Do You Have Coming Back in '09..?
Dough_Boy replied to brad_bchs's topic in KY Football (High School)
I totally agree that the seniors that we lost are going to be tough to replace but so are a lot of the other teams seniors that we play. In a years time some of these juniors and sophmores can really do a lot of growing and if they stay in the weight room, who knows who will come out onto the field next year. I can tell you this, the jr. varsity squad that we have has a lot of heart and that means a lot to the game. Bath Co football is getting better each year and I expect Coach Fields and his staff to continue making the program better each year till we bring a state title back to Owingsville. -

Bath County is bringing in a AWESOME freshmen class. They are also returning QB Josh Terry and RB Aaron Ashby Boyd. Going to be a very quick team, I am ready for the 09 season already! -
I drove 2.5 hours to watch this game. By far the best game I seen all year. Congrats Bell Co and good luck in the pizza box!
